West Handyside Canopy:
Built in 1888, the West Handyside Canopy is a historic Victorian steel and glass covered market hall. It was once a bustling food hub where produce from across the UK was brought into London from countless railway carriages, before being distributed throughout the capital. It was also where Billingsgate Fish Market was relocated every Sunday when the City of London was closed.
Today Canopy Market is the revival of this historic marketplace bringing you fresh produce and supporting amazing independent food producers, crafts, original designer-makers and street food traders, every week, all under one roof.
